Victoria Sewart Contemporary Jewellery Gallery

The Brief

Victoria Sewart’s gallery is located on Plymouth’s Barbican. Her contemporary jewellery gallery is unlike conventional jewellers. The collections are created from diamonds, gold, acrylic, wood, feathers and even recycled materials. Vicky wanted us to create a complete makeover to update and upgrade the previous site we had built for her. It was also crucial to add an online shop so that customers from further afield could buy her stunning jewellery online 24/7.

Our Solution

We built an elegant bespoke e-commerce site which showcases the beautiful jewellery in her gallery and includes a shopping basket and facilities to pay online. We integrated her preferred payment gateway system with the website. It also has sections for each of her designers, a news page and details of the jewellery-making workshops that Vicky regularly runs above the gallery. The site includes a bespoke content management facility (CMS) for easily updating the shop products, orders, the news section and the workshops page.
