Tanners Restaurant
A brand new website for the famous Tanners Restaurant, Plymouth.
The Brief
Design Inspiration has worked with Chris and James Tanner for a number of years. We created their first website nearly 10 years ago and have supported them ever since. When it was time to create something new and outstanding to match the quality of their flagship Tanners Restaurant, they came to us again. The new website needed to reflect the passion and attention that they and their outstanding team bring to their food. At the same time we were asked to create a new website design for their brasserie based in Plymouth’s historic Barbican area, the Barbican Kitchen. Each site needed to have it’s own personality, but yet retain the same design DNA.
Our Solution
Our design for their new website is focused on using stunning photography to showcase their work. Just as importantly, it highlights the unique location of their restaurant, based in Plymouth’s oldest building, Prysten House. The beautiful setting is reflected throughout the website and in the photo gallery we simply had to include.
The site includes fully editable menus as well as the photo gallery, which the Tanners’ support staff can update easily whenever they want to. It features a map, contact details, information on recruitment, as well as social media integration.
