Barbican Kitchen

A brand new website for the Barbican Kitchen, Plymouth.

The Brief

Chris and James Tanner, Plymouth’s celebrity chefs, wanted a makeover of the website we had previously built for their brasserie, the Barbican Kitchen. They wanted the site to be based around photography of their stylish location on Plymouth’s historic Barbican, gorgeous food and excellent service. The brief was clear: they wanted a website that was young, fresh and full of personality; but it also had to reflect the quality and passion behind every dish they serve.

Our Solution

We designed a site which shows their trendy brasserie off in all it’s glory. Featuring stunning photography of their tasty food, funky decor and great atmosphere by food photographer, David Griffen.

The site also includes fully editable menus and a photo gallery which the Tanners can update easily whenever they want to. It features a map, contact details, information on recruitment, as well as social media integration. The new website has a design ethos that shares its design DNA with the new website for their sister establishment, Tanners Restaurant.
